Germarie and Daniël's Engagement Shoot: A Vintage Love Story
We had the pleasure of photographing Germarie and Daniël's engagement shoot in the beautiful town of Stellenbosch, South Africa. This couple's love story is unique and beautiful, and we were thrilled to capture their engagement photos and a few months later their wedding!
When a couple books us as their wedding photographer & videographer we usually take them out for a glass of bubbly or a good cup of coffee to celebrate the booking and also to get to know them better. We met Germarie and Daniël for a lovely glass of bubbly in the stunning Stellenbosch mid-town and Germarie mentioned that her father happens to have a beautiful classic car that we were able to use for their engagement shoot. The vintage car added a special touch to the photos and made the shoot even more romantic. Germarie and Daniël's love for each other was evident in every photo we took. They were the perfect couple to work with, and it was clear that they were meant to be together.
We started the shoot, and ended it, in the stunning Jonkershoek in Stellenbosch. We started at the open piece of land and then moved to a nearby vineyard, where we were able to take advantage of the stunning scenery and beautiful light. The greenery and rolling hills provided a beautiful contrast to the vintage car and made for some truly beautiful photos.
Throughout the shoot, Germarie and Daniël were relaxed, happy, and comfortable with each other. It was clear that they had a strong connection and were excited about their future together. They were open to trying new poses and ideas, which made the shoot even more enjoyable.
As photographers, it's always special when we get to shoot both the engagement and wedding of a couple. Germarie and Daniël's engagement shoot was a sneak peek into their love story, and we knew their wedding day would be even more special. And we were right - their wedding day was beautiful, heartfelt, and full of love.
We feel lucky to have been a part of Germarie and Daniël's love story. Their engagement shoot was a beautiful reflection of their love, and we are grateful to have captured those special moments. We wish them all the happiness in the world as they start their lives together as husband and wife.
