Lara & Rohan

Lara and Rohan. They met on a blind date during their university years, and one of their first dates was at the Taal Monument. Now I have known Lara for a while, we are basically family (her cousin is my cousin and my cousin is her cousin - haha). I have always admired her enchanting smile, not to focus on the physical, but Lara’s smile is as inviting and warm as she is and that is how she always makes me feel right at home.

When we started planning this shoot we really hoped for sunlight, to capture beautiful shadows. We realised rather quickly that the day would be gloomy and rainy BUT how thankful we were! Rohan and Lara lit up the Taal Monument with their quiet and calm demeanors. Lara looks breathtakingly beautiful in a Nadya Vonstein dress and Rohan is handsome in his own sourced wardrobe (I am sure Lara helped him pick, hehe). We had the best time capturing them all while listening to their wedding plans and stories of how they met. They treated us like friends and we cannot wait to work with them again!

This shoot was one of those shoots that left Roy and I feeling super inspired.
