13 Wedding Photo Ideas

Alright, let's spice things up a bit and inject some humor into this topic! Planning is key, but it's important to remember that wedding photography is supposed to be fun. So, when things don't go according to plan, just roll with it and have a good laugh!

And let's not forget to have fun with your photos! Encourage everyone to be silly and playful, and capture their unique personality in your photos. Whether it's striking a funny pose or making a silly face, the more laughter and joy you can capture in your photos, the better.

Wedding photography, a time-honored tradition that captures the beauty, love, and joy of a couple's special day. Roy and I love to capture unique moments, somewhat anti-traditional photos but also traditional photos (if that makes sense haha)! But how do you capture all of those wonderful moments? Fear not! Here are 13 wedding photo ideas that will make your couple smile and create memories that will last a lifetime.

+The First Look: Usually the moment when the bride and groom see each other for the first time. But we LOVE first looks with the brides bridesmaids, with the father and the groom. These are always a special ones.

+The infamous Vail Shot: This is a classic shot, but try to get creative with the angle or the lighting to make it unique. We LOVE the vail shots and we always try to create a new way at creating this shot.

+The Run Away shot: A shot we feel is a MUST HAVE. For Roy and I to get creative with how we capture the couple we sometimes ask them to run away. As if they are a run-away bride & groom. It’s always a fun shot with the couple usually giggling.

+The Kiss: I mean there will be many moments to capture a β€œthe Kiss” which is great. So get creative. Don’t just focus on when the couple says "I do".

+The DECOR shots: We always as the couple what details are important to them. Sometimes the bride & groom don’t want us to focus on details such as their flowers, shoes, perfume, dress ect. Other brides and grooms want us to focus on ALL the details. Different strokes for different folks. But I mean we LOVE the details.

+The What do you want shot: Don't forget to ask the couple what shot they would like. Karla and Shaun said they wanted something cool with desert and started running towards us.

+The Bridesmaids: We always LOVE the bridesmaids, they are such hype girls and usually the sweetest. Capturing candid shots of them is easy, fun and so important. I mean it is the brides tribe after all.

+The BLURRY shot: Roy and I love movement shots. Shots that are unconventional. We always add a few. And I mean what is a wedding without a blur shot?

The FLOWERS: I mean enough said. Whether the bride has flowers or not, there will always be something stunning to capture.

+The Guest shots: The guests are there for a reason. So why not get a few stunning photos of them as well. It means a lot to the bride & groom!

+The Groomsmen shot: When it comes to wedding photography, the groomsmen are just as important as the bridesmaids. They are the groom's support system, his best friends, and they play an essential role in making sure the big day runs smoothly.

+The bridal party shot:.

+ The COUPLES SHOOT: Probably one of our favorite moments of the day. Spending time photographing the bride & groom. These photos are always different and unique to each couple. But Rou and I always have the best best time!

And don't forget, if the weather doesn't go according to plan, embrace it and get creative! A rainy day can lead to some beautiful and unique photos. Just remember to have fun and make memories that the couple will cherish for years to come.
