New York City exudes excitement, making it the perfect location to capture the romance and joy of a couple in love. And what better place to start than the iconic Met Gala steps and Central Park?
On the day of the shoot, Gabriella and Zach arrived at the Met Gala, and our first task was to find a suitable location for Gabriella to change into her Lena-Lisa original design. Finding a bathroom to do an outfit change became a common theme throughout the shoot, but that didn't deter us from capturing the couple's elegance and beauty and having a great time. Gabriella donned a stunning white dress, while Zach looked dapper in a sleek black suit. As soon as we arrived at the Met, we were greeted by the buzz of the grand staircase filled with people of all sorts.
We began the shoot by posing on the grand staircase of the Met, and the magnificent setting only served to enhance the beauty and grace of the couple. It was clear that Gabriella and Zach were meant to be together, and they moved effortlessly and naturally in front of the camera, requiring little direction from us. Capturing their love was a seamless and effortless experience.
We then moved to the enchanting Central Park, where the lush greenery and vibrant colors provided a picturesque contrast to the glamour of the Met Gala. The natural setting highlighted the couple's radiance, and they looked just as stunning amidst the park's natural beauty as they did on the grand steps of the Met.
Gabriella's creative eye suggested a change of scenery, and we shot the black Lena-Lisa dress around the Met steps and the surrounding area against a neutral, but stunning backdrop of concrete. During the shoot, moments of spontaneous laughter arose reminding us that joy and laughter are always welcome.
As the shoot came to an end, Gabriella and Zach looked more in love than ever before. Their love story began seven years ago on a plane, and now it's clear that their future is bright and filled with love. The incorporation of personal touches, such our friend designing her dresses, made the day even more meaningful and unique.
