Nestled just outside Boston, The Crane Estate provided an magnificent backdrop for Elizabeth and Chris's wedding day, a day we were honored to capture.
The day unfolded in Salem, a town steeped in history and known for its maritime heritage. Liz and her closest friends gathered at a charming hotel, setting the scene for a day brimming with laughter and cherished moments. Amidst champagne toasts, their camaraderie spoke volumes about Liz's circle of friends.
Meanwhile, Chris prepared, exchanging heartfelt gifts with his older brother, who stood proudly as his best man. Amid the anticipation, Chris's father humorously reclaimed his misplaced tweezers—a family the seems to cherish light-hearted moments.
At The Crane Estate, expertly orchestrated by wedding planner Hayley, Liz ascended the grand staircase with her friends, while Chris eagerly awaited their first look outside in one of the may garden areas.
One of the day's most poignant moments unfolded between Liz and her father, as he saw his daughter in her wedding attire for the first time— we don’t have words to describe this moment and of course, no image can do justice.
Led by Chris's sister, Elizabeth, the ceremony exuded sincerity and warmth. Liz and Chris chose to prioritize time with their guests, minimizing interruptions for photos (we love & thrive on this)—a testament to their desire to fully immerse themselves in each moment of their special day.
One of many highlights was Royce's speech, filled with humor and heartfelt truths about his enduring friendship with Elizabeth. His words elicited laughter and tears, resonating deeply with all in attendance - I couldn’t help but shed a tear or ten.
As day turned into night, guests gathered to celebrate Liz and Chris's union and honor loved ones. Liz's father eloquently expressed the significance of having cherished friends and family together—a sentiment that resonated throughout the evening.
Reflecting on our journey with Liz and Chris—from our first meeting for their engagement shoot to capturing their wedding day—we are reminded of the privilege of documenting love. This sounds so corny but having a couple trust you in capturing their day it a huge responsibility we don’t ever take for granted.
In every smile, embrace, and shared moment, Liz and Chris's wedding radiated the beauty of love in its purest form.
